The Good Person Test

Consider these questions:

Have you ever told a lie?

Have you ever stolen something?

Have you ever lusted for another person?

Have you ever used the name of God as a curse word?

Has there ever been a time when you
did not honor your mother and father?

These are just five of the Ten Commandments [God's Laws].)

Have you broken any of these laws?

There is a penalty for breaking God's law.
It is the death penalty... it's called hell.

But, There Is Some Good News!
Someone has stepped in, taken your place, and died instead of you so that your penalty is paid and you can go free.

That person is Jesus Christ.

Do you want to live?
Jesus died in your place so that you can live.

What do you need to do? Nothing. If you know you've done wrong and you wish to stop doing wrong and obey God*, and you believe that Jesus did die to pay the penalty you owe for breaking God's laws... Jesus gives you the gift of life for eternity.
